A farmer in Ouarzazate shared with Mohamed El Kadiri, a former monitoring officer for the tree planting program, the progress of his almond trees that he planted with HAF in 2022.

The farmer harvested a good yield of almonds, and now, in April, he shared photos of his trees, which he has cared for diligently. The trees are starting to bear fruit, and the farmer is very pleased with the results.

He expressed his desire to plant even more trees and has submitted a request for olive trees. Stories like this, as reported by El Kadiri, are what keep HAF’s mission alive.
