You are the Future of Morocco
Take action today to bring our vision of every Moroccan community thriving in an environment of structural social, environmental, and economic well-being. Your support empowers women, unites and strengthens communities, and connects generations through cultural dialogue and preservation.
In 2011, a new constitution was set in place by the Kingdom of Morocco, emphasizing decentralization and community-driven development as the foundation of ambitious social and environmental goals. As a result, Morocco is experiencing a new era of sustainable development. Opportunities for Moroccan associations, such as the High Atlas Foundation, to work with private, public, and government organizations are plentiful.
Established in 2000, the High Atlas Foundation is well-positioned to continue and expand our partnerships with communities to create conditions that promote ongoing vitality, economic growth, environmental stability, and cultural preservation and connection. At their invitation, we work with community leaders in support of viable projects designed to empower women and grow the economic base of communities.
While raising and planting fruit trees is central to our work, we also raise medicinal herbs as part of our agriculture program, operate family literacy programs, support the creation of women’s cooperatives, increase equitable access to legal information through our Legal Clinic, develop programs that provide access to water for drinking and irrigation, and implement an ongoing program to enhance religious and cultural preservation while promoting tolerance, interfaith dialogue, and multiculturalism.
It’s an exciting time. We see a bright future ahead and invite you to join us as we play our part in creating a vibrant and sustainable Morocco.
