The High Atlas Foundation to host a two-day conference in Celebration of the Impact of the EU Family Literacy Program in Beni Mellal-Khenifra and Marrakech-Safi
MARRAKECH, MOROCCO (December 13, 2023) – The Family Literacy program, generously funded by the European Union and implemented by the High Atlas Foundation (HAF), has successfully completed a 2-year program with significant impact.
To celebrate the successful completion of the program and the achievements of over 800 participants, the High Atlas Foundation is hosting a two-day conference. On Saturday, December 16th, 2023, the public is invited to attend an exhibition during which cooperatives who participated in the program will showcase their products for sale.
Originating from community meetings where women collectively identified education and capacity-building as a priority, the Family Literacy program has engaged women from 26 municipalities across eight provinces, providing women with literacy and numeracy classes, empowerment workshops, and technical skills training.
Join us for this celebratory event on December 16th as we highlight the impact of education and empowerment on the lives of women in Beni Mellal-Khenifra and Marrakech-Safi.
