On Monday, January 15, 2024, the High Atlas Foundation and dozens of communities will plant thousands of fruit trees during our annual tree planting Day.

his season, HAF is collaborating with farming families in all regions of Morocco to transplant 2.4 million fruit saplings from 15 community nurseries. Since 2003, more than 5 million trees have been planted. With Partners, our growth is now exponential.

This event has taken place on the third Monday of January since 2014 when HAF planted its millionth tree. Not only is it an ideal time for sowing seeds in Morocco, it also coincides with Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, which celebrates community and shared opportunity to which we are dedicated. Water containment infrastructure and rain are so vital.
