Katie Bercegeay, Director of External Relations
Katie is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in the Sefrou province of Morocco 2016-2018. During her service, she was involved in gender & development initiatives and conducted programs and classes with children, youth, and women of all ages. Katie also served as a Response volunteer in Tbilisi, Georgia where she worked with a leading anti-violence NGO. Prior to Peace Corps, she worked in stateside refugee resettlement. Katie has a B.A. in English and an M.S. in International Human Development. She joined the HAF team in October 2019 as a Project Manager based in Fes. Katie became HAF's Director of Development in September 2020.
