Jennan Al-Hamdouni, Director of Engagement and Advocacy (RECA)
Jennan is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in the Meknes Province of Morocco 2013-2015. Afterward, she was based in Nairobi, Kenya with an INGO devoted to humanitarian access and negotiation in situations of conflict and natural disaster. During these years, she traveled to several conflict zones throughout the Middle East and Africa to work with humanitarian aid practitioners on the frontline. Jennan later spent three years working on humanitarian access and political mediation in Libya for the United Nations and other INGOs. Jennan has a B.A. in International Politics and Documentary Journalism and an M.A. in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence. Jennan joins the HAF team as Director of Advocacy and Engagement for the USAID Religious and Ethnic Communities Activity.
