The High Atlas Foundation is excited to announce partnerships with GlobalGiving, and with Elizabeth Letts and Ali Alalou, authors of the newly released children’s book The Butter Man.

In partnership with GlobalGiving, HAF is raising funds to support potable water projects for five villages in some of the most remote and impoverished villages of the High Atlas Mountains. Access to potable water is one of the most serious problems affecting communities in the High Atlas Mountains. There is a 19 percent infant mortality rate in this particular region, which is four times the national average. Click here to learn more or to make a donation to this project.

We are thrilled to also be partnering with Elizabeth Letts and Ali Alalou, authors of the newly released children’s book The Butter Man. HAF will be the recipient of a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book set in the High Atlas Mountains.
