Dear colleagues,

I am grateful to announce that Rim Baji is the new Chief of Party of the USAID Dakira program.

An expert in communication, media, and youth initiatives, Rim has a proven track record of designing and implementing successful programs within the United Nations system and civil society sector. Appointed initially as Deputy Chief of Party of Dakira in August 2022, she has already created positive outcomes for the program. As she succeeds me in her new role, we look forward to her continued leadership on behalf of the High Atlas Foundation (HAF).

As President of HAF, I will continue to maintain broad oversight of the program as with all programs implemented by the organization. I will also continue to dedicate time alongside Dakira and HAF colleagues to advancing the program’s sustainability and enhanced participation so that its benefits can be widely shared among the Moroccan people.

We are very excited about what has been achieved in the first year of the Dakira program and very sincerely look forward to our collaborations for the two remaining years of the program. Thank you for your partnership and for all efforts in sharing Dakira with Moroccan communities.

Yours faithfully,
Yossef Ben-Meir
President, High Atlas Foundation
