Journalism Internship

 

The High Atlas Foundation has embarked on a new internship program in Morocco for university students in journalism. You will have the great opportunity to connect local development projects that communities that determine and implement with the challenges that the national government and the international community face. Not only that, we have the special ability to disseminate these articles of interest directly to editors of media outlets in multiple languages all over the world. 

 

It will be a chance for you to explore rural and urban life in Morocco with all of its joy and difficulty, be able to reflect and write about it in a way that integrates actions in order to improve people’s lives, and then share your written work with the Moroccan and global public. 

 

This is a huge opportunity for someone dedicated to journalistic investigation, sustainable social change, and the craft of writing (yes, under a deadline). We offer this because your written work will bring attention to not just the reality and incredible opportunity that the Moroccan people experience, but also draw attention to practical development measures that can be taken to enhance their lives. Travel, research, interview, analyse, write, write some more, publish, and return home happy and healthy.

     HAF’s award winning social enterprise covers the organic agriculture cycle from nurseries to market. Organic certification increases household incomes, and enables reinvestment into additional in human development projects.
