How you can help the High Atlas Foundation
- The High Atlas Foundation establishes community-based projects in Morocco that local people design and manage and that are in partnership with government and non-government agencies. With the support of our generous donors, rural Moroccans can implement projects that generate income, create jobs and provide critical services to their communities. Financial contributions made to the High Atlas Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

- Make a Sustaining Gift
- You can choose to make regular gifts to the High Atlas Foundation – for example, on a monthly or quarterly basis. You may provide us with information on your credit or debit card (this information is held on a strictly confidential basis) or send us details about your pledge along with your monthly/quarterly checks. You may prefer to make these gifts indefinitely, or set a definite time period (such as a gift each month for one year). We will acknowledge your gift right away, thank you for your support, and also send you a tax receipt letter at the end of the year listing all of your contributions. - Contribute to the Kate-Jeans Gail Memorial Fund
- The High Atlas Foundation is undertaking a special fundraiser in memory of Kate Jeans-Gail, a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco from 2001 to 2003, who was tragically killed in a car accident along with her mother in December 2003. In recognition of her extraordinary service to Morocco, we want to build a tree nursery in her name in Ourzazate Province, where she lived in southern Morocco. - Pump up your gift!
- A wonderful way to extend your gift is through a company match! Many organizations offer matching gifts for their employees’ contributions. Ask your employer for a matching gift form and include it with your contribution, High Atlas Foundation will do the rest. We will notify you when we have received the matching gift from your corporation.
- Pay Tribute to Those You Love
- Ask your friends to change the lives of rural Moroccans as they develop fundamental community projects by making a gift to the High Atlas Foundation in your honor for holidays, birthdays and special occasions.

- You can help the High Atlas Foundation reach out to others who are interested in international development and rural Morocco by hosting an educational or fundraising event in your home. - The High Atlas Foundation often hosts silent auctions and could use donations such as travel packages, gift certificates and gift baskets to raise funds. Please contact us at haf@highatlasfoundation.org if you or your business has materials to donate.

- Grassroots Fundraising
- Designate the High Atlas Foundation as the recipient of your grassroots fundraising efforts. Many people, for example, run marathons and ask their friends and family to sponsor them by the mile to support a meaningful cause. This often gives the runners extra inspiration and a feeling of accomplishment on top of the physical challenge. Other examples of grassroots fundraising include bike races, performances and exhibitions.
